Feeder's fourth album 'Comfort In Sound', released last month, has been widely acknowledged as their best album yet, going gold in the first week of release. Manic Street Preachers released their greatest hits album 'Forever Delayed' last month, which headed straight into the top five. Containing eighteen singles from the band's extraordinary thirteen year career, the album also included two new tracks, the top ten single 'There By The Grace Of God' and 'Door To The River'.

Kingsley Ward, along with his brother Charles, set up Rockfield Studios in the early 60s. As the world's first residential recording studios, based in the Wye Valley just outside of Monmouth, Kingsley has brought many influential bands to the studios from Queen, to Motorhead, to Oasis and Manic Street Preachers. From 1996 to 1997 alone, five classic albums were recorded at Rockfield from Oasis, Ash, Black Grape, The Charlatans and The Boo Radleys.
