The Gaslight Anthem will play five UK shows in June.

The Gaslight Anthem have revealed that they will embark on a short tour of the UK after they release their next album.
Following the launch of third studio album American Slang on June 14th, the New Jersey band will play five headline shows in Britain.
The group will kick off the roadshow by playing Birmingham Academy on June 22nd, followed by a show at Glasgow ABC on the 23rd.
Next on the tour is Manchester Academy on June 24th and London HMV Forum on the 26th, with a performance at Oxford Academy on the 29th bringing the jaunt to a close.
In an interview with NME.com, The Gaslight Anthem frontman Brian Fallon said American Slang sees the band move away from emulating the music which influences them.
"For the last record we looked really into it and we asked 'What are our influences and how do we jam them in?' And on this one, we're writing songs that we feel are relevant to us," he explained
The Gaslight Anthem are also confirmed to play two German events over the summer, appearing at the Southside Festival on June 19th and the Hurricane Festival on the 20th.
