The artists who will receive the Grammys Special Merit Awards have been named.

The Recording Academy has named the artists who will receive the Special Merit Awards at next year's Grammys.
Leonard Cohen, the late Michael Jackson, Bobby Darin, Loretta Lynn, André Previn, Clark Terry and David 'Honeyboy' Edwards will be honoured with the Lifetime Achievement Award at a special ceremony on January 30th.
Meanwhile, Florence Greenberg, Walter C Miller and Harold Bradley will receive the Trustees Award, while the Technical Grammy Award will go to audio equipment manufacturer AKG and Thomas Alva Edison.
Neil Portnow, president and chief executive of the Recording Academy, said: "This year's honorees are a prestigious group of diverse and prominent creators who have contributed some of the most distinguished and influential recordings."
He added that recipients have already influenced several generations of music lovers and look likely to continue to do so.
This month, it was announced that Kings of Leon, AC/DC, Eric Clapton, U2 and the Dave Matthews Band are among those in the running for Grammys.
