Arctic Monkeys are already planning to head into the studio to work on their third album.
Arctic Monkeys are ready to start work on their third album.
The group have been out on the road promoting their latest LP 'Humbug', which was released earlier this year, but say they can't wait to get back into the studio.
Drummer Matt Helders said: "At the moment, we're stopping in February, March, but we're in the process of thinking about whether we're going to start recording again. We enjoyed it that much, making this record, we're eager to do something else."
The group worked with Queens of the Stone Age rocker Josh Homme on 'Humbug' and liked the way he helped change their sound, despite admitting they know their evolution will disappoint fans.
Matt added to XFM radio: "Obviously a lot of people want the first record again and again, but there's no point for us and the majority of people see that you have to move on."
