Wes Scantlin has revealed that his wife acts as his "little muse".

Puddle of Mudd frontman Wes Scantlin has said that his wife is the inspiration for many of his songs.
Speaking to Billboard.com, the singer said that new songs Keep It Together and Pitchin' a Fit, found on forthcoming record Volume 4: Songs in the Key of Love & Hate, were written about his spouse.
"She's my little muse. I get a song out of any mood that my wife is in," he explained.
However, Scantlin said that his wife does not always approve of his songwriting technique, which often sees him working on his sofa with an acoustic guitar and a six-pack of beer at five in the morning.
Matt LaMotte, marketing director at record label Interscope/Geffen, told the news provider that he does not want Scantlin's hard work on the album to go unnoticed and is attempting to make sure that the digital audience becomes Puddle of Mudd fans.
Last week, Courtney Love told Rolling Stone that new record Nobody's Daughter is the most important work she has written.
