Ian Brown will play 14 European dates at the start of 2010.

Indie favourite Ian Brown has announced a European tour for the start of next year.
The former Stone Roses frontman will play 14 dates across the continent in January, starting with a gig at Paris' Trabendo on the 14th, followed by Luxembourg's Den Atelier on January 15th and the Alte Feuerbach in Mannheim on the 16th.
From there, the singer will move on to Zurich's Abart on January 18th and Magazzini Generali in Milan, Munich's Backstage and Vienna Arena on the following nights.
On January 23rd to 25th, Brown will play Berlin Festsaal Kreuzberg, Hamburg Knust and Vega in Copenhagen.
The tour will then wind down with shows at Oslo's Rockerfeller on January 27th, Gota Kallare in Stockholm on the 28th and Malmo KB on the 29th, before the final gig on the 31st at Amsterdam's Paradiso.
However, it is not yet clear whether or not Brown's upcoming bail hearing will affect the European tour.
Last week, the singer was arrested in West Kensington in London for allegedly assaulting his wife.
