Chad Channing practically forced the members of Nirvana to boot him from the band, he has claimed.

Original Nirvana drummer Chad Channing has claimed that band had no choice but to kick him out before they hit the big time.
The musician told ClashMusic that he always wanted to write music for the group rather than just work on the drums.
However, Channing added that he eventually realised he would not be able to craft songs for Nirvana, despite frontman Kurt Cobain claiming to want help with the songwriting.
"The reality is I didn't really give them much of a choice but to kick me out of the band. It was a situation that I should have quit out of before I was kicked out of," he told the publication.
Channing also pointed out that him leaving the band was always a case of 'musical differences' and said he stayed friends with the remaining members afterwards.
The drummer recorded on Nirvana's 1989 debut Bleach, but was replaced by Dave Grohl in 1990.
Recently, Grohl told BBC Radio 1's Chris Moyles that the greatest hits album for current band Foo Fighters feel "premature".
