Releasing a greatest hits collection can seem like a band's obituary, according to Dave Grohl.

Dave Grohl has claimed that the release of the Foo Fighters' Greatest Hits album is "premature".
In an interview with BBC Radio 1's Chris Moyles, the frontman said that the group attempted to delay the release of the album but was committed to it as part of their record deal.
Grohl commented: "It still seems premature because we're still a functioning, active band. Those things can look like an obituary."
The singer also told the broadcaster that the 16-tracks on the album are like a study guide to the band's work over the past 15 years and claimed that some of their less-known songs are better than the big hitters included.
Recently, Grohl told MTV News that he is not upset by the mixed reaction to Foo Fighters' latest single Wheels.
He explained that the band decided to make a change of direction when writing the song and said the result may jar with some long-term fans.
