Publishers are set to battle for Bruce Springsteen's autobiography, it has been claimed.

Music icon Bruce Springsteen is currently working on writing his autobiography, it has been claimed.
According to the New York Post, the Dancing In The Dark star is likely to base his life story on the extensive journals which he has been filling throughout his career.
A mole with a major publisher predicted there will be fierce competition among companies looking to acquire the rights to the book, saying: "It could be the biggest rock music autobiography of all time."
The insider also told the newspaper: "[Springsteen] could get $9 million [£5.4 million] to $10 million for the world rights."
Numerous biographies have previously been written about the 60-year-old, including several by unofficial historian David Marsh, who is married to his co-manager, and Greetings from E Street by Robert Santelli.
In other news, an autobiography from former rock groupie Chris O'Dell will lay bare stories about music legends such as The Beatles, Rolling Stones, Eric Clapton and Bob Dylan.
