Pete McKee is to auction a picture of Ian Curtis for the Samaritans.

An artist will auction off a cartoon portrait of Joy Division star Ian Curtis in a bid to raise funds for charity.
Pete McKee's picture of the musical legend sitting in a cafe is currently part of the artist's new Great Moments In Manchester Music exhibition, which is on tour in the city until January 14th, Gigwise reported.
However, the image has been put up in a blind auction, which involves music lovers emailing McKee with the amount they wish to bid before December 1st.
Half of the money will then be donated to the Manchester and Sheffield branches of the Samaritans.
"I am delighted to be able to hold this auction and hopefully raise lots of money for charity. Samaritans is a fantastic organisation who have helped people close to me in the past," McKee told the news provider.
He also said the painting is one of his "personal favourites" and has already received a lot of early attention in the auction.
Recently, reality TV star David Gest revealed he will auction 18 Michael Jackson memorabila items for the Variety Club Children's Charity and Liverpool Unites.
