The Cribs have said it is strange that their fourth album is heading up the charts faster than The Beatles' re-issues.

The Cribs have spoken about how strange it is to outsell The Beatles in the albums charts.
In an interview with NME.com, bassist and singer Gary Jarman said it is "bonkers" that their record Ignore The Ignorant is competing with the music icons' re-mastered back catalogue.
"Even talk of charts like that, it's humorous to us really. I never thought we'd be in this situation. But it's fine, doing a lot of it on your own," he told the news provider.
On Sunday night (September 6th), The Cribs previewed the fourth album at the London Barfly, at a sold-out show which saw hundreds of fans cram into the venue.
This week, The Official Chart Company revealed that the re-issued Beatles records are set to take five places in the top 20 of the UK albums chart.
It also announced that Abbey Road, Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, Revolver, the new stereo box set and Rubber Soul are the top selling Beatles releases.
