Apart from the Reading leg of this festival, this was to be Glasvegas last gig on British soil before they embark on an American tour with Kings of Leon. They said goodbye to the UK with their usual rousing set.
Playing before tent headliners Gossip and up against Arctic Monkeys in the billing, the four-piece opened with ‘Flowers and Football Tops’ from their debut self-titled album, which was followed by singer James Allen declaring: ‘Leeds, I love you.’
Crowd favourite ‘Go Square Go’ brought the biggest cheers of the set, while a cover of The Korgis’ ‘Everybody’s Gotta Learn Sometime’ was thrown in for good measure.
The set ended on a high note with singles ‘Geraldine’ and ‘Daddy’s Gone’ being bellowed alon g by the crowd.
