Red Hot Chili Peppers are set to end their break in October.

Rock icons Red Hot Chili Peppers will return to the music world later this year, it has been revealed.
Chad Smith, the band's drummer, told Billboard.com that the group will end their two-year break in October, although they have found their time working on other projects to be enjoyable.
"You can't force people to play when they don't want to play or aren't ready to play or whatever - not in our band, anyway," he explained.
The drummer told the news provider that he expects bassist Flea and guitarist John Frusciante will have worked on some new material in their time apart, but he thinks they will also return to their usual formula of jamming and improvising to generate song ideas.
However, Smith explained that no release date has been suggested for the next Red Hot Chili Peppers record and said that they have not yet picked a producer.
Recently, Queens Of The Stone Age star Josh Homme told US magazine GQ that the power of the Arctic Monkeys lyrics made him want to work on the band's comeback album.
