Pixies frontman Frank Black says the group have no plans to record any new material.
Pixies are not recording new material.
The 'Debaser' rockers have recently announced plans for a European tour later this year, but frontman Frank Black insists they will not be showcasing new songs.
He said: "There isn't really anything to report in that department.
"In terms of any new Pixies records, I'm in the dark. We're active insofar as our old repertoire is concerned. We're not active in terms of anything new."
Since reuniting in 2004, the group have released just one new recording, 2004's download track 'Bam Thwok' but the singer is dismissive of the song.
He added to MusicRadar.com: "It was all ostensibly for a submission to a film which shall remain unnamed.
"I can't make too much of a big deal out of it, I'm not John Lennon, I don't play in The Beatles and just because we do one little hiccup doesn't mean we have to hold a press conference."
