Amy Winehouse coming back to Britain
Amy Winehouse is set to quit St. Lucia and return to the UK after upsetting too many locals with her wild behaviour.

Amy Winehouse is set to return to the UK.

The 'Rehab' singer - who has been living in St. Lucia since late last year - has annoyed lots of locals during her time on the Caribbean island with her wild behaviour and now feels the time is right to go home.

A source said: "She's generally looked upon as bad news out there. Her bizarre antics, which at first seemed rather charming, are rubbing people up the wrong way.

"She has been flirting with all the beach sellers, saying that she needs a man, and this sort of behaviour is not appreciated among locals."

Her record label Universal Music have sent people out to St. Lucia to make sure Amy - who has battled drink and drug addictions - behaves, but even they are growing tired of her antics.

The source added to Britain's Daily Express newspaper: "Amy's flunkies from the record label are growing tired of the constant dramas and 'babysitting' they have to do.

"She disappears, runs off and ducks into locals' houses, and generally tries to give all her bodyguards the slip. It's really looking like the honeymoon is over."

Although she is considering jetting back to Britain, Amy wants to pay tribute to St. Lucia by singing in the native language on her new album.

A source said: "Amy hasn't decided whether to translate the tracks she's already written or to write something else that better suits the sound of the language."

However, her plans have angered bosses at her record label, who think the LP will flop if she gets her way.

A music insider said: "There's no way we can release an album with Amy singing in a Caribbean language. We'd be a laughing stock - it would be a commercial flop."
