Al Jardine says Fleet Foxes are "awesome" and could work with him.

A Beach Boys member has sung the praises of Seattle band Fleet Foxes.
Speaking to Rolling Stone at last month's annual Songwriters Hall of Fame induction and awards dinner, Beach Boys founding member Al Jardine revealed that he met the five-piece when they visited his California recording studio.
"They're awesome," he enthused. "They kind of have the Beach Boys vibe, too - very beautiful harmonies. They're just taking the world by storm and without any singles."
Jardine also told the magazine that the band said they want to lay down some tracks at his studio.
In addition, he claimed that Fleet Foxes offered to sing on his upcoming A Postcard from California record, which already features input from Neil Young, David Crosby, Stephen Stills and fellow Beach Boy Brian Wilson.
Last month, Fleet Foxes singer Robin Pecknold told BBC News that he believes the music world has benefited from the rise of downloading, as it allows artists to listen to and be inspired by new performers.
