Paolo Nutini has said the influence of other musicians can be heard in his work.

Paolo Nutini has said that he believes all musicians should be influenced by some of the 'greats'.
In an interview with inthenews.co.uk, it was noted that Nutini's sophomore effort Sunny Side Up sounds like it has elements of artists as diverse as Otis Redding, John Martyn, Bob Marley and The Specials.
The singer explained: "I think these are people whose music should be embedded in everybody, or at least all music lovers' heads. I feed my head with so much s**t that subconsciously it can only come out of one tap, so it all goes in [the record]."
In addition, the 22-year-old revealed that he takes a lot of his musical appreciation from watching artists and bands play live and claimed that seeing a good performance often leaves him feeling inspired.
Nutini also commented on the recent death of popstar Michael Jackson, saying that he liked the music he created despite the controversy surrounding him.
Last month, Nutini announced that he will tour the UK in October, appearing in Birmingham, London, Bridlington, Manchester, Glasgow and Dublin.
