People could have fun at Glastonbury without catching one performance, Alex Kapranos suggests.

Franz Ferdinand claim that people can have a good time at Glastonbury without stopping to see a band.
Speaking to NME.com, frontman Alex Kapranos said that the event is "different from any other festival" as there is so much more going on than the music.
He also highlighted the range of music lovers that turn up to the bash each year, explaining: "It's not like just an indie crowd or a rock crowd
It's everybody. There's a sliver of every part of society here apart from the unpleasant ones!"
Kapranos' comments follow an interview last week, in which Maximo Park singer Paul Smith told Gigwise that the smaller stages of Glastonbury are full of "interesting stuff" and recommended people do not just stick to seeing the headline acts.
On Sunday (June 28th), Glastonbury founder Michael Eavis declared this year's event as the "best ever", singling out Bruce Springsteen's performance as a particular highlight.
He also claimed that the last ten or so minutes of the Boss' set were worth the £3,000 fine he was hit with for breaking Mendip District Council's curfew on performances.
