Kasabian guitarist Sergio Pizzorno claims their new album is British rock 'n' roll.

Kasabian do not understand why they have been labelled as 'lad rock', it has been reported.
Speaking to NME.com, guitarist Sergio Pizzorno said people are mistaken if they pigeonhole the group and denied that new record West Ryder Pauper Lunatic Asylum is an attempt to shake off the label.
He commented: "If you put our records on and press play, there's no pub rock in that, man. It's really British rock 'n' roll."
Lead vocalist Tom Meighan also told the news provider that the new album takes Kasabian in a new and ambitious direction, saying it "shows how beautiful we are as a band".
The singer also said that the group has matured in every way and become more grown up.
Earlier this month, White Lies lead vocalist Harry McVeigh told BBC Radio 1 Newsbeat that the band finds it difficult to write while on the road and suggested he will not have chance to work on new material until 2010.
