U2 played a set at the Island Records 50th birthday bash.

Rock superstars U2 made a surprise appearance in London yesterday (May 28th).
The band hit the stage at the O2 Shepherds Bush Empire as part of the 50th birthday celebration of label Island Records.
A series of gigs have been taking place at the venue over the week as part of the anniversary.
U2 shared the bill with Senegalese artist Baaba Maal and Yusuf Islam and surprised the sold-out crowd by joining Maal when he played a version of their hit song One.
The band also played a rendition of Bob Marley's One Love and a semi acoustic version of Vertigo.
Earlier in the gig, U2 frontman Bon introduced Maal, telling the crowd: "I have a friend, a brother, who really takes care of everything. We share the respect of Nelson Mandela's vision. We need people to understand."
Bono recently appeared on BBC Radio 4 to read a 14-minute poem which he had written about music legend Elvis Presley.
