Manic Street Preachers' bassist suggested not releasing the band's latest album.

Nicky Wire has revealed that tried to get the latest Manic Street Preachers album scrapped.
The bassist told the Guardian that he wanted bandmates James Dean Bradfield and Sean Moore to bin Journal For Plague Lovers, which includes lyrics written by former bandmate Richey Edwards - who disappeared suddenly in 1995.
He explained: "I said 'Let's just f*****g dig a hole and bury it and make it even more of an art statement, say we've made this great album, but it's just too much to give away."
However, he revealed that Bradfield was not too keen on the idea after the band had put so much work into the record, telling the bass player to "f**k off".
In addition, Wire told the newspaper that he has made efforts to not interpret Edwards' lyrics and said he stopped looking for messages which are not there after the musician went missing.
Last month, British Sea Power's Martin Noble told NME.com that he is working on a remix of Me And Stephen Hawking, a track which is found on Journal For Plague Lovers.
