Babyshambles are a better band than Oasis, according to Pete Doherty.

Pete Doherty has said he would like Babyshambles' comeback album to beat the efforts of Oasis.
Speaking to NME.com, the former Libertine revealed that he believes his current band could be the best in Britain.
He commented: "With Oasis stepping up a gear and proving they've still got it, they need to be shown there are people out there who can surpass them."
Doherty also claimed there is "no competition" if Babyshambles are superior to Oasis, saying his group is the "greatest in the world".
In the interview, the star told the news provider that "record company politics" will determine when the next Babyshambles record can be expected, but he hopes that it will be out soon.
Last month, NME.com reported that Blur's Graham Coxon joined Doherty onstage at the musician's solo gig at London's Proud Gallery.
The two performed renditions of Arcadie and Salome, with Coxon returning to lend a hand on set-closer Time For Heroes.
During the solo elements of the show, Doherty played through Libertines, Babyshambles and solo hits, including What A Waster, Love Reign O'er Me and Music When The Lights Go Out.
