Simple Minds will tour the UK at the end of 2009.

Simple Minds have announced they will embark on a UK-wide arena tour later in the year.
The group will perform on seven dates in major cities, with the roadshow due to start on November 30th.
Starting at Newcastle's Metro Radio Arena, Simple Minds will then play LG Arena in Birmingham on December 2nd, Manchester Evening News Arena on the 3rd and the Sheffield Arena on the 5th.
On December 6th, the group will appear at Cardiff International Arena, followed by Wembley Arena in London on the 7th and the tour's finale on the 7th at Glasgow SECC.
Support for the gigs will be provided by Orchestral Manoeuvres In The Dark.
Writing on the group's website, Simple Minds frontman Jim Kerr commented: "I am honestly ecstatic with the possibilities that will come with the tour. The old songs sound stronger than ever, and the new ones will be absolute killer."
Kerr also said that the band will perform with a "ferocious hunger" which aims to send out a challenge to other groups.
