Real competition is the only way music websites can tackle illegal downloading.

Online music services must learn to offer effective competition to illegal downloads if the problem of piracy is to be tackled, it has been claimed.
The founder and editor of TorrentFreak.com, known as Ernesto, said the only real solution to illegal downloading to compete with it.
He explained: "Right now most of the online music services don't offer a very good experience."
Ernesto pointed out that many of the legal platforms still use some form of Digital Restrictions Management, feature a limited library or do not offer unlimited access.
The expert suggested that an "all you can eat" solution is the best way to compete with music pirates, by allowing users to download music for a small fee or through an advert-supported website.
In addition, he claimed that this approach could ultimately result in more revenue being created for the artist and record labels.
Earlier this month, video sharing website YouTube blocked premium music content to UK users, after its licensing deal with trade body the Performing Rights Society for Music expired.
