Kurt Cobain would appreciate Eddie Vedder today, it is claimed.

Pearl Jam frontman Eddie Vedder has claimed that Kurt Cobain would be proud of him if he were alive today.
Speaking to the Sun, the singer said he and Cobain became friends even though the Nirvana icon labelled his band's music as "corporate, alternative and c**k-rock fusion".
He commented: "But there's a couple of complimentary things that he said in public about me as a human being, which I'm proud exist. But if Kurt were around today, I know he'd say to me, 'Well, you turned out OK'."
Vedder also told the newspaper that the band is "humbled" by the fans which have stuck by them over the years and said that the upcoming reissue of their classic Ten record will reward enthusiasts with a new insight into the group.
The album, which is being relaunched as the band approaches their 20th anniversary, will be available in four exclusive editions, including a remastered version, a remixed record and original demos of Once, Alive and Footsteps.
Earlier this month, Vedder drummed up support for cartoonist Tom Tomorrow, whose This Modern World comic strip was pulled from 12 newspapers in one day.
