The side project of Babyshambles bassist Drew McConnell will release an album this year.

A Babyshambles side project plans to release a full-length album before the year is over, it has been reported.
Helsinki, which is a musical project of Babyshambles bassist Drew McConnell, is planning to launch a ten-track record - with ten of the songs having already been laid down, according to NME.com.
Other musicians in the band include Albert Hammond Jnr of The Strokes, Irish singer-songwriter Fionn Regan and Kid Harpoon.
McConnell told the news provider: "Helsinki is an entity that came into being unwittingly, a cloud of friends who at many points over the last two years found ourselves gigging and recording."
In other news, a new chapter of the ongoing Libertines reunion saga has been written.
Speaking after last week's Shockwaves NME Awards, the band's frontman Pete Doherty claimed he has finally convinced Carl Barat to restart the band.
He also revealed that there is another "amazing" Babyshambles record in the pipeline.
