Music icon Leonard Cohen has given money to help the Australian bushfire victims.

Singer Leonard Cohen has made a donation to help the victims of the recent Australian bushfires.
The 74-year-old has given AUD $200,000 (£90,000) to help those in the crisis, which has seen more than 180 people die and almost 1,000 homes destroyed in the state of Victoria.
A statement from Michael Gudinski, his Australian tour promoter, revealed: "Leonard has loved his time in Australia on this tour and is shocked and deeply saddened by the news of the fires."
In addition, he said the singer-songwriter and his touring party extended their "heartfelt sympathies" to the people who lost their family, friends or homes in the disaster.
Cohen is currently touring the country and plays his final date in Melbourne today.
Recently, it was revealed the star will play his first show in the US in 15 years, when he takes the stage at New York's Beacon Theatre on February 19th.
The last time Cohen performed in the US was in 1993.
