Franz Ferdinand are among the bands to play the NME Awards.

NME has revealed that a host of top acts will perform at it upcoming awards ceremony.
Glasvegas, Franz Ferdinand and Friendly Fires have been lined up to play the Shockwaves NME Awards on February 25th.
The groups will take to the stage for short sets, before moving aside to allow The Cure to perform a half-hour set to mark being crowned Godlike Geniuses in the ceremony.
It was also announced that the event, which is held at the London Brixton Academy, will be hosted by comedian Mark Watson.
The performer said in a statement: "I can't wait to take charge of one of music's only non-s**t awards ceremonies. I look forward to saluting some of rock's most exciting, most innovative and drunkest people."
Previous hosts of the event include long-haired lothario Russell Brand and Gavin And Stacey stars James Corden and Mat Horne.
Recently, it was revealed that Filthy Dukes will play the afterparty for the awards, while Club NME DJs Jeff Automatic and Mickey Four will spin the decks at the bash.
