A new documentary claims Sid Vicious did not kill Nancy Spungen.

A filmmaker has claimed that his new production strengthens the case that Sex Pistols bassist Sid Vicious did not kill his girlfriend.
Speaking to the BBC, director Alan G Parker said he interviewed people who convinced him the musician did not stab lover Nancy Spungen.
In the Who Killed Nancy? documentary he explores the possibility that the killer could be a man named Michael who was present at New York's Chelsea Hotel on October 12th 1978, when the murder took place.
Mr Parker told the news provider: "He was flashing a lot of money, he was bragging about having robbed the room and Sid was there and Nancy was dead and everything."
The documentary also claims that the punk rocker may have passed out at the time of the murder after taking 30 painkillers, while $24,000 (£16,873) in cash went missing in the night.
In addition, the director explained that he decided to make the film after Anne Beverley, Vicious' mother, asked him to clear her son's name.
Last year, an exhibition in Camden was held to remember the life of the punk icon, who died at the age of 21 from a heroin overdose while facing trial for the murder.
