Bands which will play the Isle of Wight Festival's first night have been named.

The first bands on the line-up for the Isle of Wight Festival have been unveiled, with upcoming indie acts and crossover performers featuring on the bill.
According to the event's organisers, The Tings Tings - winners of the UK Festival Music Awards 2008's festival pop act, best newcomer and anthem of the summer honours - will kickstart the proceedings on June 12th.
"These punk poppets are sure to kick things off with a blistering bundle of energy," it was claimed in a statement from the organisers.
Australian drum and bass group Pendulum will follow on the main stage, before South London duo Basement Jaxx emerge to deliver "high-energy performances to the island".
The opening night of the festival will see The Prodigy take the headline slot and unleash "their adrenaline-pumping anthems to the crowds".
Last year the festival saw a host of big hitters take to the stage, including The Kooks, Kaiser Chiefs, Ian Brown, Feeder and Iggy Pop and the Stooges.
