Carl Barat played with Glasvegas at their New Year's Eve gig.

Glasvegas were joined onstage by former Dirty Pretty Things star Carl Barat as they welcomed in 2009 in Edinburgh, it has been reported.
According to NME.com, the musician, also known for his work with the Libertines, hooked up with the group near the end of their Hogmanay set at the Waverley Stage.
Barat joined Glasvegas frontman James Allen to sing a cover version of We'll Meet Again, made famous by World War II icon Dame Vera Lynn and later performed by country legend Johnny Cash.
He then played backing guitar on Daddy's Gone, which ended the set, the news provider revealed.
Also playing at the Edinburgh Hogmanay were Attic Lights, Groove Armada and Friendly Fires.
In other news, Glasvegas guitarist Rab Allen has told the Daily Record that he will not let the newfound fame and wealth of the band go to his head.
The star revealed: "I haven't gone mad. My mum has been on two holidays this year and didn't pay for them, but I haven't bought myself anything apart from a pair of cowboy boots."
