Authorities threaten Weller with jail after his drunken behaviour.
Legendary Jam frontman Paul Weller was threatened with jail after getting drunk and collapsing in the street with his girlfriend in Prague, according to reports.
The Sun claims the pair consumed so much alcohol that they were unable to walk properly and the Czech authorities told them they could face time in the cells for their behaviour.
Weller and his partner Hannah Andrews had gatecrashed a party at the Little Whale Pub and the singer insisted on performing with the establishment's guitarist on stage.
A source said the pair were so drunk it was difficult to make sense of what they were saying or doing.
"They were almost incoherent. The cops said if they couldn't figure out where they were staying they'd take them to the drunk holding tank. They figured they had to be at a nearby hotel and Weller was half-carried there," the insider said.
In other news, Paul Weller is one of a number of celebrities who have joined the Save Our Pubs! campaign, an initiative which aims to preserve the traditional British watering hole.
