The band have been made an offer by a US entrepreneur.

The Darkness have been made an offer to reunite, go on tour and make a new album in 2009, it has been reported.
According to the Sun, the US entrepreneur behind the Dubai Desert Rocks festival is keen to see the group reform and is prepared to pay substantial amounts of money to ensure it happens.
The band split up in 2006 after a series of internal feuds between the members and a source told the publication there are several issues which will need ironing out before any reunion can go ahead.
"It's an absolute mess because so much contributed to the band breaking up. The main thing is that Dan [Hawkins] and Justin [Hawkins] don't get along at all. Dan blames Justin for the second album's failure because of Justin's drink and drug problems," the insider said.
The source added Dan and drummer Ed Graham are also involved in a legal dispute with their manager over financial issues.
Other bands who are rumoured to be getting back together include the Stone Roses and the Smiths.
