Frontman reveals warm-up gig plans.

After announcing they are to reform, Blur will prepare for their big comeback performance at Hyde Park next year with a series of small gigs beforehand.
Frontman Damon Albarn told Radio 1's Zane Lowe it would be foolish to simply walk on stage at such a big event without having prepared properly, meaning they will perform several smaller shows in the months building up to the main event.
The singer said one place where Blur will definitely warm-up in is Wolverhampton.
"We'll definitely be playing Wolves, that's for certain. We would play Dudley JBs but it doesn't exist any more, so the nearest to that. There are some people who have been very close to us for a very long time who emanate from the Black Country," he told the radio show.
The group recently announced they are to come together once again following a ten-year hiatus and their big comeback is scheduled for July 3rd at Hyde Park, with tickets going on sale today.
In other news, Noel Guardian recently told the Guardian the bad-blood between Blur and Oasis has passed, going on to praise Damon Albarn for his artistic skills.
