Tom Smith talks about the band's next album.

Tom Smith, frontman of the Editors, has revealed the band's forthcoming album has been inspired by the theme tune to the hit movie The Terminator.
Speaking in an interview with BBC 6 Music's Steve Lamacq, the singer said the follow up to the group's 2007 disc An End Has A Start will feature a more experimental sound than people are used to.
He said fans can expect a different approach on this latest offering, with influences coming from a variety of sources.
"There's kind of a real electronic sheen to it. A lot of it to me sounds like it could soundtrack Bladerunner, and we've been listening to the Terminator theme quite a lot as well," he told the news provider.
Smith also revealed the band have written 18 songs so far but want to work on the material for longer before deciding on a producer.
The Editors are Tom Smith, Chris Urbanowicz, Russell Leetch and Ed Lay.
