Al Doyle speaks out on rumours the band are no more.

Hot Chip star Al Doyle has rejected suggestions that LCD Soundsystem have split up.
The guitarist, who has played as part of the band founded by James Murphy, moved to clarify recent reports he said the group are no more.
In a statement on Hot Chip's website, Doyle stated the band have not split up and new material is in the pipeline.
He said the group has always been a "revolving cast of players", meaning it would not be possible for LCD Soundsystem to come to an end.
"I didn't know if anything was going on with LCD next year, which is the truth, and that's all I should have said, but I gabbed on a bit because that's the way I am and I didn't imagine in a million years that anyone would concoct a story out of it," he stated.
He added LCD Soundsystem breaking up would be like saying the Fall had disbanded.
The band is made up of James Murphy, Pat Mahoney, Phil Mossman, Tyler Pope and Nancy Whang, as well as other contributors.
