The Glastonbury Festival has already sold half the tickets for the 2009 event.

More than half of the tickets for the 2009 Glastonbury Festival have been sold - eight months before the event begins.
Tickets for the legendary event went on sale yesterday (October 5th), with over half of the 137,500 made available having been sold by the early evening.
Commenting on the fact the festival did not sell out on the first day, spokesman John Shearlaw said: "That would have been extraordinary, without a line-up and eight months before the event."
The line-up for the event, which runs from June 24th to 28th next year, has not yet been named, although co-organiser Emily Eavis told the BBC it will not feature U2, Coldplay or the Rolling Stones.
Organiser Michael Eavis claimed it is "exciting" revellers are looking forward to next year's event and suggested the 2008 Glastonbury was one of the best in the festival's history.
Those buying advance tickets have the option of paying the full £175 price or putting down a £50 deposit, with any remaining after the first round of sales to be offered on April 5th.
