DJ Grooverider has spoken for the first time about the time he spent in a Dubai prison.

Radio 1 DJ Grooverider has said the hardest part of spending time in a Dubai jail was missing his daughter.
Speaking to BBC's Newsbeat, the musician opened up for the first time about his incarceration following his arrest for possession of cannabis at Dubai airport,
Grooverider, real name Raymond Bingham, was caught with 2.16 grams of marijuana and received a four-year sentence after admitting the offence.
However, he was released after serving ten months after gaining a pardon from the Dubai royal family.
The DJ told the news provider: "It was the worst part missing my girl grow up for the last year.
"I talked to her at Christmas and she was in floods of tears and that wasn't the easiest thing to deal with."
He also said now the incident is over he aims to get on with the rest of his life.
Writing at the time of the DJ's sentencing, the Times hailed Grooverider as "one of the godfathers of drum'n'bass".
The newspaper also pointed out that despite a successful production, remix and presenting work, he claims to be happiest when playing live gigs.
