Natascha Stellmach plans to set the deceased singer "free".
A German artist claims she is going to smoke the ashes of the late Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain as part of an exhibition.
Natascha Stellmach claims she will roll the remains of the singer in a spliff and inhale them as the final act of her show.
It has previously been reported the ashes were stolen from the home of his former lover Courtney Love, however the artist stated she acquired them legally.
The act is part of the Set Me Free exhibition and that is what Ms Stellmach claims she will be achieving by smoking the remains: "They came to me. And I am setting him free."
Meanwhile, a resident of Gray's Harbor in Seattle is to build a park commemorating Kurt Cobain, it has been reported.
According to the Seattle Times Tori Kovach is to go ahead with the plan, claiming aspects of his life are similar to those of the deceased singer.
