The Kings of Leon have said they left behind their partying lifestyle to focus on the band.
Speaking to the Sun's Gordon Smart, the Nashville group said they have given up the sex and drugs to concentrate squarely on the rock and roll.
Jared Followill, the band's frontman, said avoiding wild-living ways has helped the Kings to become less stressed and contributed to the critical success of their forth release Only By The Night.
Talking about previous UK tours, he told the newspaper: "You were in your hotel room all by yourself all day. You wake up and it's already dark out and you're so lonely. So at night, you go out with girls."
However, now the band has decided to focus on the quality of their music, they revealed they have settled down with steady girlfriends and said they are shocked by the antics of musicians such as Amy Winehouse.
When the Sun reviewed the Kings of Leon's album, which is released on September 22nd, it claimed the record is "full of timeless classics" and suggested it echoed greats such as the Rolling Stones and Led Zeppelin.
