The Ting Tings pulled an enormous crowd to the NME stage on the final day of the 2008 Leeds festival, and didn't let the masses down with a highly energetic and frivolous set.
After so much chart success, the Salford band were always likely to attract many fans, but the tent was so full, many had to be content with watching on the big screens outside the tent.
The first hit the band played was 'Great DJ' – the band's recent single. Instantly, the crowd recognized the distinctive tune, and shook the venue to it's rafters with constant bouncing.
The band saved the best till last, finishing on current single 'Shut Up And Let Me Go' – made famous by being the backing track on a recent Apple iPod commercial – before launching into an extended version of 'That's Not My Name', their number one smash hit.
The closer, which has become a set trademark, was received with incessant screaming, making it one of the true festival anthems of 2008.
