Slipknot add another London date
The group's first two Apollo dates sold out within 48 hours.
The band will play an extra gig in Hammersmith Masked rock group Slipknot have revealed they will play an extra show on their forthcoming UK tour.

The group have decided to add another performance to their stop in London after the two scheduled appearances at the Hammersmith Apollo sold out in less than 48 hours.

As a result, the Iowa outfit will play at the arena on December 3rd in addition to the first and second.

It may go some way to appease fans left disappointed by their decision to cancel their appearances at the Reading and Leeds Festival after suffering injuries.

The tour begins in the capital and moves on to Cardiff, Birmingham, Glasgow Manchester, Newcastle and Sheffield.

Meanwhile, the band's frontman Corey Taylor recently broke the band's silence on the subject of recent killings in South Africa which have been blamed on the group's influence.

Speaking to US magazine Blender, Taylor said Slipknot's message is a positive one and expressed his disturbance at the deaths.
