Coldplay announce major UK tour
They'll be hitting the arena trail in December
Coldplay 2008 Coldplay have announced their biggest UK tour in three years, with a series of arena shows in December.

The ten-date tour - which will come six months after the release of new album 'Viva La Vida or Death And All His Friends' - opens in Birmingham on December 1st and will culminate with a two-night stint at London's O2 Arena on December 14-15.

Dates are:

December 2008

1, 2 - Birmingham NIA
5, 6 - Glasgow SECC
7 - Sheffield Arena
10 - Liverpool Echo Arena
11, 12 - Manchester MEN Arena
14, 15 - London O2 Arena

Tickets go on sale at 9.30am on May 30. Click here to buy online after that date.

Coldplay release 'Via La Vida' on June 12th.
