Beyonce Knowles has been approached to sing the theme song for the upcoming James Bond film Quantum Of Solace, according to reports.
The star was reportedly contacted after efforts by Amy Winehouse and producer Mark Ronson failed to capture the producer's imagination, with Ronson telling reporters he had been forced to scrap studio sessions as he thought the singer was "ready" to work.
However, to add to the confusion, Winehouse told the press on Saturday she had completed the song, although she has no idea if it had been put forward for consideration as the title song.
The latest Bond adventure hits screens later this year and will be the second outing as super-spy James Bond for actor Daniel Craig.
