The ongoing rumours of Beyonce's marriage to Jay-Z have been put to bed after a NEw York state official confirmed they had received a marriage license.
The couple were rumoured to have tied the knot after dating for almost six years, after throwing a glamourous rooftop party earlier this year at Jay-Z's Manhattan penthouse. However, the couple have never publicly spoken of their relationship and this left press guessing if they had finally said 'I do'.
Donna Conkling, a clerk in the suburb of Scarsdale, said the licence had been received by their offices was dated April 4, and was signed by the official conducting the ceremony - which saw a host of star-studded guests in attendance, including Gwyneth Paltrow and former Destiny's Child bandmates Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams.
