
This year's Wireless Festival line-up has been augmented by one of the world's biggest hip-hop stars.
Jay-Z has been announced as the final headline act for the summer festival, taking top billing on Friday, July 3rd, joining Morrissey, Fatboy Slim and Counting Crows as a top billed artist.
Organisers described the star as a "thrilling live performer" and a "true living legend". "Now in its fourth year, the O2 Wireless Festival continues to go from strength to strength and this year's line-up further cements its reputation as one of the UK's top music events.
Also confirmed for the first night at Wireless were Mark Ronson and the Version Players, Hop Chip, Roisin Murphy and producer Hercules and Love Affair.
