Rumours of several members of the Jackson 5 moving to a sleepy Devon village have been collaborated by a friend of the family this week.
As previously reported, the oldest of the Jackson's Tito had been looking at property in north Devon with a view to moving away from the bustle of Los Angeles, and family friend Matt Fiddes, who is based locally, says Tito has his eye on a piece of land just up the road from a house he's renting.
"They can't wait to get here. They love North Devon and they'll be moving in to the rented house during the first week of May," says Fiddes.
"The brothers want to live here permanently. They get no hassle and they've been blown away by the peace and beauty of the area when they've stayed."
According to reports, the Jackson's plan to build a secluded 'glass-style' mansion on a large piece of land in the Croyde area. They're currently renting a converted bard for around £5,000 a month which has views of the Taw and Torridge estuary.
Mr Fiddes adds, "It is set back from the road with its own gate, but it's a fairly normal house really. It's not as private as they are used to, but they have bodyguards.
"Tito and his sons are putting the finishing touches to an album and are desperate to get here as they know it's more peaceful than California."
Tito will be using the house as a base while his songs Taj, 34, Taryll, 32, and TJ, 29 - who are in the band 3T - finish recording an album while a camera crew follows their every move for a new reality TV show. Michael, Janet and Jermaine are expected to visit the house in the coming months.
