Guitarist Richie Sambora was arrested yesterday in Laguna Beach for allegedly driving while under the influence of alcohol.
A police spokesperson said the Bon Jovi guitarist was arrested after being stopped around 11pm on Wednesday night for driving erratically in the Californian beach town in his black Hummer. He could potentially face child endangerment charges after travelling with his two children, according to reports.
THe musician reportedly took a roadside breathalyser test, and then given a blood sample at the station, before being released at 4am, and is described as being "very co-operative" at all times.
Sambora has been battling alcoholism in recent years, and only recently completed a stint in a rehab clinic.
He will appear in court in Newport Beach on May 7th on one misdemeanour count of driving under the influence.
