Metallica have announced a super-rare opportunity for their legions of fans to meet them at an in-store appearance next month in San Francisco.
The metal legends are doing their bit for the 'Record Store Day', which aims to encourage music lovers to pay a visit to their local music retailer, by scheduling an appearance at Rasputin Music's Mountain View store near San Francisco on April 19.
The band will be on hand to meet fans and sign autographs to promote the vinyl re-release of their seminal 80's album's 'Kill 'Em All' and 'Ride The Lightning'.
The band's latest album, the follow-up to 2003's "St Anger', is thought to be nearing completion and is still on track for a 2008 release, according to sources.
