Amy Winehouse has been offered whopping $1m (£500,000) to sing at a private party hosted by Hollywood stars George Clooney and Julia Roberts.
The Daily Mirror claims the London-based star is finding her life "getting more surreal by the second", and is weighing up an appearance at the May 5 bash at New York's Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute.
"Amy was taken aback when she learned that Clooney and Roberts were after her," an unnamed source tells the tabloid newspaper. "She hasn't really taken it in - and keeps saying that her life is getting more surreal by the second."
The report adds Winehouse was first approached by fashion overlord Giorgio Armani.
"Giorgio has made no secret to his friends that he would love to work with Amy," adds the source. "He sees this party as an ideal opportunity to sound her out about future projects together."
"After the Grammys, it was expected Amy would be in demand. Clooney and Roberts's reps have been phoning her offices and sending dozens of emails to convince her to take part. She's seriously considering their generous offer."
